Innovation Center of Islamic Science Studies (ICISS) is a sequel to the previous idea of “Makmal Ibadat” that has been planned out last two years’ SIC. This new, improved idea was built significantly based on the design or the structure of Masjidil Haram. To add, this center will be the first center in the whole wide world to provide the students regardless whether they are primary, secondary or even a University student with a practical-based learning on various scope of Islamic and Islamic science studies. Not only that, this center will also be the one stop center for the society in Malaysia particularly and to Muslim’s community internationally. They will not only gain knowledge theoretically, but also has the opportunity to apply the theory into practical straight away, effectively.
For information, ICISS consist of two main building known as the Management Center and also the Islamic science studies laboratories, and that both were drafted based on the concept and design of Ka’abah and sai’e. As mentioned earlier, these building were significantly built based on the design of Makkah is because this center is also intended to be the first most similar and convenient place for practical of Hajj and umrah. As for the management center, this building will consist of 2 levels in which these levels will locate the Islamic science studies laboratories, Islamic science galleries and the simulation rooms. On the other hand, in the second building the Thoharah and the funeral management center will be located, along with conditioned tutorial rooms and seminar rooms. In addition, this spectacular center will also provide the user with a liquid bazaar where people can easily get to buy the necessities for the entire practical courses provided such as the funeral management kit and also Hajj and Umrah kit.
The expected cost to build this center is approximately to RM 4 million as this cost also includes the cost of the high-tech facilities for the laboratories. To note, this project must be taken seriously by person or the agency involved as this project can be seen as the benchmark to develop Islamic teachings in line with the developing technologies that are present in these days. This project is also be seen as the trigger factor for the expansion of the Islamic teachings and may be the turning point for Islam as a whole to regain back the glorious time of Islamic education as how it has been once in the Abassiyyah time.
